What we collect when you use this website, why, and the choices you have. Last updated October 29, 2026.
Who we are
Olea’s Carpet Cleaning is an owner-operated carpet, upholstery, tile & grout and area rug cleaning business serving the South Bay area of Los Angeles. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Olea’s Carpet Cleaning. You can reach us at oleacarpetcleaning@gmail.com or 310-863-8465.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you request an estimate, we collect the details you enter in the form:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your service address (street, city and ZIP code), if you provide it
- The service you want, the rooms or pieces to be cleaned, and your preferred date and time
- Any notes you add
If you call, text or email us, we also receive whatever you share in those messages, such as photos of a stain.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this website. It records things like the pages you view, the links and buttons you click (including our phone and email links), your approximate location (city level), and your browser and device type. It does not tell us who you are.
How we use your information
- To reply to your request, give you a quote and schedule the work
- To send you emails about your request, such as a confirmation, an estimate or an invoice
- To keep records of the work we do and to take payment
- To understand which parts of the website are useful and to improve them
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to send you marketing from other companies.
Who we share it with
We use Google services to run the business: your estimate request is stored in a Google Sheet, and our emails to you are sent through a Google account. Google Analytics measures website use. These providers handle information on our behalf and under their own privacy terms. We may also share information if the law requires it, or if it is needed to protect our rights or safety.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies, which are small files stored in your browser, to tell one visit from another. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. This website does not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate and job records for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep our business records. After that, we delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email oleacarpetcleaning@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to ask us to delete it, and to not be treated differently for asking. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
Security
This website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and the records we keep are in password-protected accounts that only the owner can open. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
